The traditional outdoor opener for the Northwest Motocross Series held March 2-3 at the Horn Rapids Motorsports Complex in Richland, WA is in the books. An overcast Saturday greeted 561 riders for round 1 and 500 riders enjoyed a sunny and breezy round 2 on Sunday.
Ryan Huffman, at 38 years young, was untouchable winning his three races and showed he's ready to take the field. Get onboard with Huffman and see firsthand what it's like from the driver's seat with the helmet cam. Watch Huffman twist, turn and jump his way to victory. His patience is evident as he falls behind for a bit then, wait for it, BOOM! He grabs the lead and never looks back.
Competition is brewing between Ryan Breece and Yah-Tsheng Moua who battled all week-end long and traded plastic throughout. Breece took the checkered flag twice and Moua got one. Expect a show from these two in the coming months.
Join us for rounds 3 and 4 during the weekend of March 23-24 back in Richland, WA.
