Pro Tips for Cleaning and Replacing a Dirt Bike Air Filter
Always check your air filter after every ride. This ensures you have time to purchase air filter oil and air filter cleaner, or a new filter if necessary. We recommend having two or three fresh air filters ready to ride so you never miss a ride.
- Wear nitrile or rubber gloves to protect your hands from chemicals.
- When applying filter oil, liberally spread oil to thoroughly saturate the filter and then ring-out any excess.
- Inspect the intake to make sure it is free from debris before installing your cleaned and newly oiled air filter.
