Pro Tips for Changing a Dirt Bike Tire
Using a tire stand and proper tools makes installing new dirt bike tires and tubes a much easier process, gives you better leverage and provides a place to store your tire irons.
- When working on the rear tire, position your dirt bike on the stand sprocket side down. When working with the front tire, position with the rotor side down.
- Pop the bead away from the rim all the way around before starting to remove your old tire.
- Wear nitrile or rubber gloves for added protection.
