Depressurizing Before Anything Else

Removing and Refitting the Line

Verifying the Seal

Reinstall the pump fuse, Reconnect the battery, then cycle the ignition on and off several times without starting. Each cycle charges the line and lets you inspect both joints while they are clean and dry, which is the clearest leak check you will get. Wipe them and check again. Start the engine, let it idle at full pressure with the fittings vibrating, and look a third time. Ride a short lap, inspect once more, and only then reinstall the plastics.
