Confirming the Setup and Killing Pressure
Residual pressure persists in an injected circuit long after shutdown, so a fitting opened cold can still spray. Removal, Installation, and the Leak Check
With pressure relieved, remove the seat and side plastics so both the tank outlet and the run toward the throttle body are accessible. Slide worm-gear or spring clamps well back before disturbing a joint. Compress a quick-connect coupler's tabs evenly and pull it straight off rather than levering sideways, which is how weathered collars crack. Rotate a stuck hose gently on the barb to release the varnish bond, and slit a seized one lengthwise instead of damaging the fitting.
