The end state is a hose that is hard outside, soft inside, and unreliable in both places.

Removing the Old Hose

A self-locking quick-connect gets pushed until it clicks and then pulled on firmly to verify the latch, and needs no clamp at all. Route the hose back through every original clip.

Reinstall the fuse, Reconnect the battery, and cycle the key on and off several times without cranking so the pump pressurizes the circuit. Inspect both connections with a clean rag while everything is still. Then start the engine, let it idle, and check again with the twin running and vibrating the chassis. Only after several dry minutes should the bodywork go back on, and a short ride near home is a sensible final test. Persistent soft fuel delivery after a clean install points toward the in-tank pump and filter module, not the hose you just fitted.
