Is Your Fuel Line Actually the Problem?

Injected Outlanders work differently in each of those respects: no valve exists, an electric pump inside the tank keeps the line under pressure, fittings can be self-locking quick-connects that need no clamp, and the pump fuse must come out so the engine can stall and bleed the rail before a single fitting is loosened. Route the line back through every original clip, clear of exhaust and driveline.
Confirming Zero Leaks
Tighten the drain screw, open the fuel valve, and let gravity fill the line and float bowl while you watch both connections. Start the engine and let it idle several minutes, checking once more with everything hot and vibrating, then ride a slow lap and inspect a final time.
