The end is near!
Actually, that may very well be true hence the Me looking outside to see what chapter of Revelation we're doing today memes. But the advent of electric dirt bikes, i.e. Stark Varg simply reflects reality " the electric revolution has arrived.
Not to worry purists, like the so"called and expected Red Wave a few years ago that failed to materialize, expect this wave to also resemble more a ripple, though probably a constant one that should rightly birth its own class of racing. (If the gatedrop of either Supercross or Motocross goes silent call this sport dead.)
Grip it and rip takes on a whole new meaning with an electric dirt bike because you pretty much do exactly that. Turn the bike on and GO. No gas, no oil, no spark plug, no nothing. OK, not exactly.
Many parts that propel an electric dirt bike also enable the power of an internal combustion engine dirt bike. So then, where can I get parts for my electric dirt bike? Right here at MotoSport!
A Stark Varg indeed benefits from aftermarket upgrades to help dial in riding comfort and keep you on two"wheels for years to come. If you own a CRF450F or YZ250F many of the parts used on those dirt bikes cross over to a Stark (and likely whatever invention comes next for the electric dirt bike evolution.)
The Stark Varg gets dirty and needs parts
Stark Varg Parts Compatible with Gas Dirt Bikes
The following parts sold at MotoSport for gas powered dirt bikes also fit on your Stark Varg.
1. Wheels and Tires
No difference in wheels or tires between the Stark and all other dirt bikes. Ride a Stark Varg on standard Motocross size of 21"inch in the front and 18" or 19"inch in the rear. Grab your favorite tire brand for whatever hook"up you need on soft, hard and loam surfaces whether on the track or trails.
You can run standard tire tubes or mousse inserts, too.
So, if you know how to change the tires on your gas powered dirt bike, you already know how to change the tires on an electric dirt bike.
2. Suspension
Perhaps a selling point for Stark, the Varg comes with (as OEM!) high"end KYB suspension. Hmm, maybe theres something to this bike after all. Yamaha, Kawasaki, and other factory MX bikes use KYB suspension.
Guess what?
- Tune your forks and shock with the same tools and parts sitting in your garage
- Upgrade springs, adjust oil levels, or send components to your suspension shop as usual
- Suspension service kits, fork seals, and fork fluid from aftermarket brands remain relevant
- Shock bearings and fork bleeders all still compatible.
3. Brakes
Stark did not reinvent the tires and wheels for their Varg nor did they reinvent the brake system. The same hydraulic disc brakes that stop gas powered dirt bikes also stop an electric dirt bike. Most Stark Vargs use the standard rotors, calipers, brake pads, brake lines, etc. so stop (pun fully intended) at MotoSport for an upgrade to the brake system or replacement parts.
4. Handlebars and Controls
Hold on to an electric dirt bike with two hands wrapped around grips attached to handlebars. Oh, you mean just like a regular dirt bike? Yes! Control and handling begins with the handlebars whether on a Stark or Honda. The only difference?
A Stark Varg uses the oversized 1"1/8"inch handlebars. If you prefer the standard 7/8th inch bars then get used to bigger and some might say better. Regardless, all the industrys top handlebar brands fit on a Stark, in your favorite bend, wearing your favorite grips, bar pad and handguards. Literally, you can take the handlebars off your gas"powered machine and install them on your battery"powered machine.
OH! Dont forget. No clutch lever or kill switch on the Stark but everything else remains the same " throttle tubes, lever guards, and brake levers all follow the same fitment.
5. Footpegs
Your dirt bike boots wont know the difference between a gas powered dirt bike or electric because the Stark retains the same footpeg and mounting hardware set"up. The Stark uses bolt"on Motocross style footpegs so if you want wider pegs or lighter titanium, feel free to upgrade just as you would your Yamaha.
6. Plastics and Plastic Kits
Like all major brands, the Stark Varg uses model specific front and rear fenders, number plates, shrouds and seat covers. Clean and care for these plastics the same as any other plastics, and graphics install just the same. More and more aftermarket brands offer their plastics for the Stark Varg, too.
7. Chains and Sprockets
Might as well call this apples to apples. Use a standard 520 chain on the Varg and your choice in front and rear sprockets. Gear up and gear down by adding or subtracting teeth in the front or rear in the same way as your regular dirt bike.
This means our popular chain and sprocket kits apply and all the aftermarket chain guides, rollers, sliders and master links seamlessly function on your electric ride.

8. Protective Accessories and Bike Armor
Protect your electric bike from crushing crashes, ridiculous riders and ominous obstacles with skid plates, frame guards, handguards and even disc protectors. Protective body armor installed on your Kawasaki also works on a Varg.
9. Dirt Bike Riding Gear " Still Essential
Before you swing a leg over the plug"and"play beast, you need all the essential riding gear you wear on a 2"stroke kickstart. Get a dirt bike helmet, boots, pants"jersey"gloves, goggles and if so desired (and recommended), a chest guard and knee pads or braces from your favorite brand " all sold at MotoSport.
Electric Dirt Bike Parts
A touch of electricity might replace the need for a splash of gas, but electric dirt bikes have quite a bit in common with the forefathers in gas at least when in comes to parts. Whether you ride the lightning or on fumes, trust MotoSport to get you dialed in and make your next ride your best ride.
