Florida played host to an Outdoor National for the first time in 22 years as gates dropped for Round 5 of the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series on Saturday at WW Ranch in Jacksonville, FL.

The new venue brought some changes and a bit of a shake-up in the points standings for both classes as Marvin Musquin (1-3) grabbed his first Moto win and overall of the year helping him jump from fifth in the standings to third. Zach Osborne (5-2) landed on the podium again in third while Eli Tomac (7-1) took sole position of the points lead with a second overall including a wire-to-wire win in Moto 2. Ken Roczen (2-10) finished sixth overall and dropped six points back of Tomac in the standings.

In the 250 class, Justin Cooper finally got that elusive win on a (2-2) day winning by one point over Dylan Ferrandis (4-1). Adam Cianciarulo (5-3) took third on the tie-breaker over Michael Mosiman (3-5), missing out on the overall for the first time this season but keeping his podium streak intact. Cianciarulo maintains an 18 point lead over Cooper despite the eight-point bite into his lead. Chase Sexton, who won the first Moto, was unable to finish Moto 2 because of the extreme heat conditions with highs in the 90s and oppressive humidity.
