Not without some controversy over its efficacy, the Motocross neck brace has come a long way since its award winning introduction by Leatt in 2007. The South African company improved on its original “Product of the Year” design and styles now offer more movement and less visual impairment. Leatt also grabbed the attention of competitors which givers riders a choice when picking a neck brace. Today, several companies offer a version of the dirt bike neck brace each incorporating technological innovations to make them more comfortable, versatile and with added safety measure.
Wearing a dirt bike neck brace remains a personal choice. Many, if not most, work with a Motocross chest protector so when deciding check out the available fitment. Use the size charts on the individual product page to determine best fit and read Motocross Neck Brace Comparison for more information on sizing and reasons to invest in a brace.
