The EVS neck support fits nice and is very comfortable.
Haven't wrecked with it yet but feel confident that it would do it's job. It's comfortable and light and looks good. Seems good quality and very durable and a good price compared to other neck support products.
Just got in a accident on the dunes at silver Lake Michigan. Ended up breaking my collarbone but all of the first responders said this thing saved my life. Really after about 10 minutes of riding with it on you don't even feel it. And USE the straps! I know they look dumb but trust me they are there for a reason! I may have a broken collar bone right now but atleast I'm alive. I will never ride without my neck brace ever again!
Fits great. Don't even know I'm wearing it. Hope I never have to use it, but I know it's there.
It's a little thick. I don't have a short neck. Feels more like a neck brace instead of protection. A 1/4" thinner would be much more comfortable and usable.
I switched to this from the EVS Rc evolution neck brace and it is a huge difference. The R4 is much more comfortable, lightweight, and durable. the only thing i will say is in fitting with my thor sentinel chest protector it was a little different. With the old one i would put on the RC Evolution and then put the chest protector on top to hold it into place. This one is slightly more difficult at first. what you have to do is put on the chest protector first (without connecting straps) and then run the straps of the neck brace through the neck opening on the chest protector and then put your head through the neck brace and then arms through the straps and connect the chest protector and neck brace straps. All together though the brace is worth it and is not overly restrictive, it also stays in place very well.
You will not find a better neckbrace for $110.00. Plain and simple. If your a penny pincher this is for you. Does what it needs to do when it needs to do it. Looks good and is pretty comfortable.
I bought this recently for my son because he already uses and likes the EVS roost/chest protector. He rode with it for the 1st time a couple weeks ago and when I asked him if it bothered him he stated he forgot he had it on. It looks pretty cool as well. Thinking of getting one for myself. It is kinda plain so I bought it with the decal kit which I believe is about $15.
This product is much less expensive than the competition. Did have issues with fit when wearing body armor.
