The original Hinson clutch basket was built by Wayne Hinson's hands in 1990 to help ATV Motocross racer Gary Denton. That basket lasted four racing seasons. In 1992, Hinson Clutch Components was founded. Today, Hinson clutch rides a wave of popularity in the powersports arena and has gained notoriety in dirt bike riding and racing. Hinson is the original aftermarket clutch company, that's why you see them on more factory bikes than any other clutch manufacturer. Hinson clutch is like OEM but stronger offering a much longer clutch life and better feel than factory parts.
