Follow that with a visual sweep for stains or a small puddle beneath the frame, remembering that a pressurized line often weeps only while the pump runs. Squeeze the hose along its length; anything hard, glassy, or visibly checked near a fitting has aged out. From the seat, the symptoms read as bogging under throttle, a lean or starved feel once the engine warms, or noticeably longer cranking on a cold start. Two of those signs together are enough to justify the swap.
Why the Injection System Changes the Approach

What You Need on Hand

Pressurize and Verify
Release the pinch pliers and let fuel refill the line. Cycle the key on and off two or three times so the in-tank pump primes and builds pressure without cranking, then wipe both joints with a clean rag and check it for staining. Fire the engine and look again from underneath with a flashlight, because a pinhole under working pressure produces a creeping bead rather than an obvious drip. Turn the bars lock to lock and cycle the suspension to be certain the hose never pulls taut or contacts a frame tube.
