- Cool Down Completely

Use high-quality, pre-mixed coolant or mix coolant with distilled water (typically 50/50 if needed). SLOWLY fill the radiator to the very bottom of the filler neck . Pause and rock the bike gently to work out air bubbles as you fill. - "Burp" the Cooling System
With the radiator cap off, start the engine and let it idle briefly. Gently blip the throttle and rock the bike to help release air pockets. Stop engine, let coolant settle, and top off to filler neck as needed.
Note: The CX50SR may not have a bleed bolt–if it does, open it slightly until coolant flows out, then close. - Replace Radiator Cap
Once coolant is stable and filled to the bottom of the filler neck, replace the radiator cap securely. - Check Coolant After First Ride
