Step-by-Step Instructions
- Prepare the Bike

Locate the radiator cap on the right side. Wipe around it to prevent debris from getting in, then unscrew the cap. - Drain Old Coolant
Find the coolant drain bolt–typically at the lowest point of the water pump on the right side of the engine. Position your drain pan beneath and loosen the bolt. Allow coolant to drain fully. If needed, tilt the bike gently right to help remaining coolant exit.
Tip: Inspect the drained coolant; cloudiness or rust indicates flushing may be needed more often. - Flush (Optional)
If the system was dirty, pour a small amount of distilled water into the radiator, replace the cap momentarily, shake the bike, and drain again. - Replace the Drain Bolt
Clean the sealing surface and reinstall the drain bolt. Make sure it's snug but do not overtighten to avoid stripping the threads. - Fill New Coolant
Using a funnel, slowly pour fresh coolant into the radiator until the fluid is just above the internal core (visible through the filler neck).
