- Reinstall the drain bolt. Clean the drain bolt threads and torque it to the manufacturer’s spec–typically around 6-7 Nm.

- Using a funnel, pour pre-mixed coolant slowly into the radiator neck until almost full.
- Lift the front wheel off the ground (ideally about 19 inches) to help air escape from the system.

- Some models have a small 8mm bleeder screw at the cylinder head or highest radiator hose–open carefully until coolant flows out, closing as soon as it does to purge trapped air.
- Continue filling if needed until the radiator is full, with coolant visible at the cap neck.
- Check for leaks. Wipe down all connections, hoses, and check behind the water pump and radiators for any seeps.

- Let the engine idle until it reaches normal temperature–the coolant will circulate, and any remaining air will purge into the overflow bottle.
