  • 8mm socket or wrench

Preparation

  • Reinstall the drain bolt (torque to spec if possible).

Refill with Fresh Coolant

  1. Verify the drain bolt is secure.
  2. Slowly pour fresh coolant into the radiator via the cap opening, using a funnel.
    Fill until the coolant is just at the base of the filler neck.
  3. Agitate the bike gently side-to-side to help bubbles escape.

Bleed Air from the System

  • Start the TC250 with the radiator cap off and briefly run the engine to circulate coolant.
  • Look for air bubbles escaping from the radiator neck. Add more coolant if the level drops.
  • Once bubbling stops and the level remains, replace the cap firmly.

Check for Leaks & Top Off

  • Run the bike until it reaches operating temperature, then shut off and let it fully cool.
  • Check the coolant level in the radiator and in the overflow reservoir, if equipped.
  • Top off with additional coolant as needed.
