Fill with New Coolant
Insert the drain bolt securely. Using a funnel, fill the radiator with fresh, pre-mixed motorcycle coolant – not straight coolant, as this can be too concentrated. Fill until you see coolant at the base of the neck. -
Fill the Coolant Reservoir
Don't forget the overflow reservoir, usually located behind a side panel. Fill to the "Full" mark. -
Bleed the System
Start the engine with the radiator cap off and let it idle for a minute, topping off coolant as air bubbles escape. Once bubbling stops and the level remains steady, secure the radiator cap. -
Check for Leaks and Reinstall Parts
Inspect the drain bolt and radiator hose clamps for leaks. Wipe up any spills, then reinstall all plastics and the seat. -

After a short ride, let the engine cool and recheck coolant in both the radiator and reservoir. Top off if necessary.
