Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Prep the Bike: Place your KX65 upright on a stand in a well-ventilated area. Ensure the engine is cool.
  2. Remove the Radiator Cap: Use a rag to prevent spills, and slowly unscrew the radiator cap on the left side of the bike. This will relieve system pressure.

  7. Bleed Air from System: With the bleeder screw open, fill until coolant escapes from the bleeder, then close it. Replace and tighten the radiator cap.
  8. Check for Leaks & Run the Engine: Start the engine, let it idle 2-3 minutes, then shut it off and let it cool. Recheck coolant level–add as necessary.
  9. Dispose of Old Coolant: Used coolant is hazardous–take it to a recycling or hazardous waste center. Never pour down the drain or on the ground.
