Step-by-Step Coolant Change Procedure
- Let the Engine Cool Completely
Never attempt to open the cooling system while the engine is hot or under pressure–serious burns can result. Wait until your DRZ250 is cool to the touch. - Access the Radiator Cap
Remove the seat and left radiator shroud using your screwdriver to expose the radiator cap. - Remove the Radiator Cap

Using your funnel, slowly fill the radiator up to the base of the filler neck with the specified coolant. If your DRZ250 has an overflow tank, fill it to the lower mark as well. - Bleed Air from the System
Tilt the bike side-to-side gently with the radiator cap off to help trapped air escape. Watch for bubbles. Top off coolant as needed.

Reinstall radiator shroud and seat.
