  1. Let the Bike Cool Completely

  2. Remove the Seat and Side Panels
    This provides access to the radiator cap and overflow tank. Locate the radiator cap on the right-hand side above the engine.
  3. Open Radiator Cap

    Fill the overflow (reserve) tank to the FULL mark. Replace the cap on the reservoir securely.

    Air can cause overheating and poor coolant flow. With the radiator cap off, briefly run the engine until you see coolant circulate. Squeeze radiator hoses to help release trapped air. Top up coolant as needed – the radiator should be filled to the base of the filler neck.
  10. Install Radiator Cap & Panels
    Install the radiator cap: Turn it to the first stop, push down, then finish tightening. Reinstall the side covers and seat.
  11. Check for Leaks & Final Top-Off
    Start the bike and let it idle until it warms up. Check for leaks around the drain bolt and hose connections. When cooled, double-check both the radiator and overflow tank levels, topping off if required.
