Changing the Coolant on Your TE610
- Allow the bike to cool. Never attempt to open the radiator cap when the bike is hot–steam and boiling coolant are dangerous.
- Remove the shrouds if necessary to access the radiator cap and drain bolt. Use care to avoid damaging aging plastics.
- Place a drain pan under the water pump area.
- Open the radiator cap slowly to release pressure.
