Step-by-Step Instructions
- Cool Down the Bike
Ensure the engine is completely cool to avoid burns and prevent pressure-related spills. - Remove the Seat and Radiator Shrouds
Use the appropriate tools to remove the seat and shrouds, allowing clear access to the top of both radiators and the filler neck. - Open the Radiator Cap
Slowly remove the radiator cap to relieve any residual pressure. - Locate and Remove the Drain Bolt
The 360EXC typically has the coolant drain bolt on the lower water pump cover (right side of the engine). Position your drain pan underneath and carefully remove the bolt, letting all coolant drain out. - Flush the System
Optionally, pour distilled water into the radiator, reinstall the drain bolt finger-tight, and briefly run the engine (30 seconds) to circulate. Turn the engine off, remove the drain bolt, and let the water drain. Repeat until clear. - Reinstall the Drain Bolt

Using a funnel, slowly pour fresh coolant into the radiator until the fluid reaches the base of the filler neck. - Bleed Air from the System
Gently rock the bike side to side to help trapped air escape. Briefly squeeze the coolant hoses to encourage bubbles to rise. If equipped, briefly open any cylinder (bleed screws) to release trapped air, then retighten. - Reinstall the Radiator Cap
Double-check that the coolant level is correct before securing the radiator cap firmly. - Run and Recheck
Start the bike and let it idle until up to temperature. Carefully inspect for leaks and monitor the coolant level. Let the engine cool, then recheck the coolant top off as necessary. - Reinstall All Plastics and Seat
Finish up by reattaching the shrouds and seat.
