Step-by-Step Coolant Change Procedure
- Let the Bike Cool Fully
Never attempt to drain the cooling system while the engine or radiators are hot. Allow the CR500 to cool completely to avoid burns and to ensure accurate fluid levels. - Remove Seat, Shrouds, and Fuel Tank (optional but recommended)
For better access, remove the seat, radiator shrouds, and fuel tank. This gives you clear access to the radiator cap and drain bolt. - Remove the Radiator Cap
