Step 1: Preparation
- Start with a cool engine. Coolant in a pressurized, hot system can cause serious burns. Make sure your Suzuki is on a stable stand and the key is off.

Step 2: Drain Old Coolant

Step 4: Refill with Fresh Coolant
- Reinstall the drain bolt and tighten to spec.
- Pour the recommended volume of fresh coolant into the radiator until it's at the base of the filler neck.
- Check the small coolant reservoir (located under the side panel) and fill to the upper mark.
Step 5: Bleed the System
- With the radiator cap off, start the bike and gently blip the throttle to circulate coolant and free any trapped air bubbles. Wiggle the bike side to side for extra help.
- Wait until the engine warms enough to open the thermostat. Watch for dropping coolant levelstop off as needed.
- Shut off the engine and let it cool completely. Fill the radiator again if necessary, then reinstall the cap.
