Pour coolant in slowly to the base of the filler neck. Some air will work its way out slowly, so fill a bit, let it settle, and top off as needed. - Bleed trapped air.
With the radiator cap off, lean the bike side to side gently and squeeze the lower radiator hose (if accessible) to help bubbles escape. - Check and fill the coolant reservoir.
If your model has an overflow/reservoir tank, fill it to the "Full" line with coolant. - Reinstall the radiator cap.
Make sure it is secure. - Re-install all plastics and the seat.
- Start the engine and warm it up thoroughly.
Let it reach operating temperature, then shut it off and allow it to cool completely. Check the coolant levels — top off if necessary, as air may have worked its way out during the first heat cycle.
