Step-By-Step Air Filter Removal & Cleaning for the 2024 XR150L
- Locate the Air Box:
The air box is positioned under the seat on the right side of the bike. - Remove Side Covers & Seat:

Remove the screws securing the air box cover. Carefully lift off the lid to expose the air filter. - Extract the Air Filter:

Once dry, evenly apply foam filter oil. Thoroughly massage oil throughout the foam by hand, ensuring full coverage. Excess oil should be gently squeezed out. The filter should be uniformly colored but not dripping. - Reinstall the Air Filter:
Insert the oiled filter into the air box, checking for a proper seal around the perimeter. Reattach any screens or filter backers as installed from factory. Secure with all hardware. - Reassemble & Inspect:
Install the air box cover, seat, and side cover. Confirm everything is tight and seated properly.
