Removal – Cleaning Process

  5. In a bucket, mix air filter cleaner with warm water. Soak the filter and gently squeeze (don't twist)repeat until dirt is gone.
  6. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water. Squeeze out excess moisture (do not wring or apply heat).
  7. Let the filter air dry completely. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.

Oiling – Reinstallation

  1. Place the dry filter in a clean bag, add air filter oil, and massage until fully saturated.
  2. Reinstall the filter evenly into the airbox. Make sure it seats properly and seals against the air box flange without gaps.
  3. Replace the air filter cover and reattach side panel & seat.

Replacement

  • If the foam shows tears, holes, or has hardened, replace it immediately with a new OEM or high-quality aftermarket filter.
  • You can reuse the foam filter many times unless it is damaged.
