Entering its second year on the redesigned chassis, the 2019 Beta 350 RR Race Edition benefits from improved clutch feel and refined suspension settings. The improved clutch engagement is valuable on the 350 four-stroke, where the engine’s broad torque band makes clutch modulation a primary control input during technical enduro sections. The 349cc liquid-cooled DOHC four-valve single with electronic fuel injection and six-speed gearbox pairs with the proven new frame, KYB fork and Sachs shock with race-tuned valving, ergal footpegs, and factory graphics. The clutch update changes the engagement character but not the hub nut torque — 70 Nm remains the specification.

Dry vs. Wet Torque
Oil drain plug: always wet; reduce 15–20% with sealant. All other values assume dry threads.
Improved Clutch & Hub Nut Verification
The updated clutch uses revised friction materials and spring rates. After any clutch service or plate replacement on the 2019 model, the hub nut at 70 Nm must be verified. The improved feel comes from the plate stack, not the hub — the hub nut’s job is to contain the assembly under the four-stroke’s sustained torque loading. The 350’s smooth power delivery is less abrupt than the two-strokes, but continuous four-stroke torque cycles the clutch assembly differently. Consistent hub nut torque protects the improved clutch feel.
Thread Locker Application
Medium-strength (blue) thread locker for the 2019 Beta 350 RR Race Edition:
- Rear sprocket nuts
- All disc bolts
- Linkage bolts
- Subframe bolts
- Exhaust header bolts
- Skid plate bolts
Torque Wrench Selection
A 3/8-inch drive click-type for 20–100 Nm and a 1/4-inch drive for 10–12 Nm valve cover and cam hardware. Two drive sizes for the refined 350cc Race Edition.
