The 2017 Beta 500 RR-S launches a street-legal enduro derivative of the 500 RR in the redesigned chassis. The 499cc DOHC four-valve single with EFI and six-speed gearbox pairs with DOT-compliant lighting, mirrors, and road equipment in the new chrome-moly steel frame. The RR-S designation delivers the complete off-road enduro capability of the 500 RR with the street-legal convenience to ride from home to trails without a trailer. Open-class displacement produces significant vibration at highway RPM that progressively works on mirror mounts, lighting brackets, and handlebar clamp hardware.
