The 2014 Beta 450 RS SM marks the final year for the 450cc supermoto. The 449cc DOHC four-valve single with EFI and five-speed gearbox pairs with 17-inch supermoto wheels and high-grip tires for the last time. As the most refined and final version of the open-class supermoto, every component is irreplaceable at the factory level. Supermoto’s extreme forces — hard pavement braking, aggressive cornering on grip tires, and abrupt surface transitions — accelerate wear on the 450’s already heavily loaded components.
