I have just upgraded bikes from an older model KTM 300 XCW to a 2018 300 XC and with these upgrades have changed from the Zstarrt Pro which I thought worked awesome to a Core EXP 3.0. I am amazed at how advanced these cluthes have become. I swear it feels as if I get more power to the ground with the Rekluse than without.

Very easy to install. Very easy to set the adjustment, works very well.
Installed on a KX450f that I use for woods riding, eliminated stalling and greatly increased confidence.
Okay I have ridden twice since I installed my rekluse clutch. First off it was not that hard to install myself. The instructions and videos help. I found that the clutch lever is now a little stiffer but not bad. The rekluse was very noticeable going up hills where I was in a higher gear and the motor began to lose rpms. Once the rpms got to a certain point the clutch would begin to slip and allow the rpms to rise giving me a boost of power pushing through the difficult part. It operates as advertised and I think it is very useful for me at my riding ability. If you are good with your clutch work you may not find it worth the cost.
This bad boy does it all
Out of all of the upgrades that have been done to my crf450x this is by far the best. I ride single track in the NW and the Rekluse CX completely eliminates stalling on the steep tight trails. It has also been a godsend while teaching my 8 year old daughter to ride the trails as well. The complete install and break in took 3. 5 hours and was extremely simple following the instructions. I highly recommend this to anyone who rides single track.
We bought this for my sons kx65. Installation was easy and instructions were spot on. Clutch makes it much easier for him to ride especially starting out on hills. Clutch has a great feel to it and was easy to adjust.
Love my Rekluse.
Increased my confidence on the trails immediately.
Still have clutch control
I had someone else install it
Honestly everyone learning should have this feature. If I buy another bike I'm putting this in it immediately. This specific one I used in an go kart where we used the 250 dirt bike engine, all we had to do was change the springs to the stiffer springs in the kit (green springs I think) and it was ready to go!
Yamaha has not provided us with a parts list for the '89 WR250, so we are unable to look up and compare part numbers.
The Primary Driven Gear 5DJ-16150-00-00 for the 98-18 YZ250 was not found to fit the WR250.
The Clutch Boss 5NX-16371-00-00 for the 93-18 YZ250 also fits the 94-97 WR250.
