Light isn't any brighter than my stock one and doesn't have an adjustment to raise or lower the beam mine is lower than id like it to be. Bought an HID kit soon after installing to try to brighten it up but that didn't help much either. I ran the LEDs on there own waterproof switch which worked well. But half my LEDs no longer work on one side after only having the light for a couple years. Bike never sees any sort or mud either so don't know what caused them to fail. Great looking light but besides that I dont feel like it was an upgrade from my stock light.
This light functions well and has no obvious flaws. Just keep in mind that it is simply a halogen light, and will perform very similarly to most stock headlights. Also the LEDs on the sides provide absolutely zero usable light. Trust me, i tried in absolute darkness, and they're purely for show.
Overall a neat light, but you should go for a true LED if you want a better night riding experience.
Haven't installed it yet but it looks well built and has a clean look.
I like the LED look alot. Plenty bright for my needs.
Product is much better than my stock headlight.
Had a little trouble wiring it. Wish the diagram
That came with it would show how to wire it
To specific bikes and the different ways to wire
It. I chose to run the LEDs and DRl with the low
As long as you can find a 12v power source you will be able to retrofit this onto your bike.
