just bought this and I was able to try it out this weekend, love it. Didn't even feel like I was wearing it. I haven't had a chance to see how it is going to work with my Leatt Neck Brace - but I'm sure it will fit as it claims it will.
I am a 5'2 female - and I must say, since I have owned many chest protectors, and they're all pretty much made for boys/men, the Shock Doctor by far, hands down, is the best chest protector to date. Yes it cost a lot, but isn't your body worth it? I bought the youth in small, and it fits like it was made for me. (side note- I am size D) and it definitely protects my chest, without riding up ( : My husband even likes the way it looks. His words, I think I might want one. I didn't complain at all while wearing this chest protector. The other protectors on the market, and I have owned many since 1980, they always rode up, that they were dangerous, because they didn't fit right. I Love Love, Love - this chest protector. Always wear your gear, you never know when you may crash. Even the best riders crash. We love trail riding, since we live in the forest, I am now complete, with protection.
Two thumbs up, and Thank You Motorsport - you guys rock!!!
we are a family who thanks about safety thanks troy lee and shock doctor, again my son had a impact after going down a 65cc rider hits him head on and right after the crash he gets on his bike and finshed his practice
This is a very well engineered and constructed chest protector. It is the first one we have been able to get to work with a Leatt brace on our 7 Y/O. This protector has much better padding and coverage compared to the less expensive ones we have. My only complaints are, no sizing chart is available here, or on the TLD website. And there were no instruction included to explain the different length fasteners used when the removable panels are taken off for use with a neck brace. It is a little spendy as well, but a quality piece.
