I bought these for my son, who says he likes the fit and comfort much more than guards with elastic straps. They stay in place well when worn over a base layer like a micro-fleece heater shirt. This is fine in colder weather, but they tend to slide up or down when worn against the skin in warmer weather. A possible fix might be to wear an elbow sleeve ... similar to what basketball players sometimes wear ... underneath the guards, which would eliminate the added warmth of a base layer, but still help prevent the guards from slipping. As for protection, my son has had a few get-offs while wearing these, and so far they seem to have helped. In one instance, he stuffed the front tire of his bike in a corner, up-ending the bike, which then came down on top of him. As a result, the footpeg of the bike landed on his arm, leaving him with a pretty sore elbow. Looking over his equipment afterward, I'm fairly certain these guards prevented a more serious elbow injury, like being badly cut by the pegs.

Really like these. Thought I give them a try after reading some good reviews on them and I really like these. Really comfortable, they stay on your arm without moving around, true to fit. Will definitely work in case of a fall.
They don't move around they stay in place they're super comfortable and you almost forget your have them on
I love these elbow pads!! They fit perfectly and provide plenty of protection. The convienance oh being able to slip them right in and off but comfortably that they mold to you skin is unmatched.
I finally found an elbow guard that doesn't slide down to my wrists or make me want to itch my arm off from the discomfort!!! Great job tld
Great fit. Did not even notice I was wearing them. Elbowed a couple trees and felt no discomfort.
Super sleek. No bulk.
First off I took a hard hit this past weekend. Landed on left shoulder and arm. First time wearing elbow protection and these pads saved the day. On top of being an elbow guard, the shock doctors also contain forearm protection.
Sizing - Well be warned these are very tight. I am 6'0" @ 185 lbs . . . Average athletic build and the Size Large is tight. Albeit once you get used to them they're comfortable and do not move around at all.
These are well worth the money and definitely saved my elbow and forearm this past week. Glad I purchased.
These are super padded, but still very flexible. the sizing is very accurate so be sure to measure exactly to get the best fit.
Pads stay in place well and I don't notice them when riding. I broke my elbow a few months back and the added protection definitely does its job!
