  The Quad Lock Universal Adaptor can be directly adhered to smartphones, cases and most flat metal or plastic surfaces, and is compatible with all Quad Lock Mounts.

  Tech Specs:

  • 3M VHB adhesive.
  • Slim profile (5 mm thick).
  • 48 mm wide and 60 mm tall.
  • Durable and tough composite construction.
  • Adheres to flat and slightly curved surfaces.
  • Note: Use of the Universal Adaptor may interfere with Wireless Charging.

  Surface Guidelines:

  The Quad Lock Universal Adaptor uses a 3M VHB 4952 Adhesive which will adhere to smooth, non-textured, non-porous surfaces such as:

  • Plastics such as PC, ABS, PVC, Nylon, Acrylic.
  • Non-painted metals.
  • Un-coated glass.

  The adhesive will not bond to the following substrates:

  • Rubber, TPU, TPE.
  • Leather.
  • Silicone.
  • Hydrophobic coated glass (Also known as anti-fingerprint glass, which is found on the back of most modern smartphones).
  • Soft touch coating or paint.
  • Low surface energy plastics such as Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE), Acetal, HDPE.
  • Wood.

  Quad Lock highly recommends using a case with the Universal Adaptor if your phone has a glass back. Please ensure the substrate is thoroughly cleaned and dry before applying the Universal Adaptor. The 3M VHB is a single use adhesive and is not reusable.
