I added this when I opened the air box and went to a twin air filter. At the same time I went down one tooth on the front sprocket of my XR650. The combination produce a real power gain that allowed me to access higher torque and even better top end speed, especially at high elevations and up hill mountain pass runs.
I bought a 2001 kxl 300R and was wondering if it will fit
Perfect fit quality construction I like the
Ease of disassembly for tuning
Just a little loud however
I bought this pipe for my 2006 crf450r.. I love this pipe.. I noticed a big improvement in the power.. and the sound is amazing... you can hear that bike scream from the other side of town.. deep tone...when you hear this bike you know its defiantly not stock. took me no time at all to install and looks better than ever....get this pipe.
It's a great muffler for sure and its tunable. You can do like me and pull all the parts out for the loudest and strongest you can get. Sounds great but not as loud as I thought it would be and it helps unleash a lot of power. Awesome!!!
Good pipe.....but! It showed up w two dings....header side of the pipe wouldn't l slide on because the was dropped. Both ends of the pipe had a dent..other than that the pipe is good
Made my husband's bike louder and more powerful. Great buy for the price!

Question:Q: What jetting should i switch to if i bought this for my 2007 KX250F?Question asked Over 6 months ago
Question answered by Tyler GearheadUser's contributor status: Top 25Question answered Over 6 months agoAnswer: A: Jetting properly takes into account a number of different factors "Elevation, Riding Style..etc" and with such I cannot make any suggestions. I would contact FMF prior to installation for suggestions they know their stuff! Or check out local online forums, they are great for finding that kind of info for your particular riding area.

Question:Q: What is the best pipe for my Suzuki ltz250 4wheeler want something that sounds good and gives it some more powerQuestion asked Over 8 months ago
Question answered by DaveGearheadUser's contributor status: Top 1Question answered Over 8 months agoAnswer: A: Based on your fitment, I am only showing 2 mufflers we offer for your ATV. We have the FMF Q4 muffler and the Pro Circuit T-4 muffler. The Q4 is quieter and is designed for offroad use. The T-4 pipe is more performance oriented and sounds like what you are looking for.

Question:Q: I am interested in riding in PA. Their state law requires no more than 99 decibels (db) from the exhaust. What is the expected db reading and can I lower it somehow (e.g., more packing, adjustment, etc)?Question asked Over 9 months ago
Question answered by PaulUser's contributor status: Top 10Question answered Over 9 months agoAnswer: A: The Pro Circuit T-4 Slip-On Exhaust is intended only for race-track use. Pro Circuit does not offer any claims regarding the decibel rating or quieting effect.
We carry other mufflers which are more quiet than the Pro Circuit T-4 Slip-On Exhaust.
To help us to find parts to fit correctly, we will need to know the year, make, and model of your motorcycle.

Question:Q: I bought ny atv used and it has this exhaust. How do i know if the spark arrestor is s still installed? And what is the db rating?Question asked Over 10 months ago
Question answered by MichaelUser's contributor status: Top 10Question answered Over 10 months agoAnswer: A: As far as seeing if it has a spark arrestor, point a flash light in the exhaust port, and poke a blunt object in there to see if there is a screen. As far as a DB rating, if it is used, that might actually vary at this point depending on how many hours are on the exhaust, and how well the packing has held up from use.

Question:Q: I just put a T4 on my 2018 raptor 700r and now the bike wont start. Does the bike need a different tune to run with this exhaust?Question asked 1 year ago
Question answered by DaveGearheadUser's contributor status: Top 1Question answered 1 year agoAnswer: A: It should at least start. It sounds like you may have bumped something like an electrical harness. Maybe go back through your work and look for something that is loose.
