Waterproof Motorcycle Gloves

Frequently Asked Questions

• How should I approach sizing and fit when choosing Waterproof Gloves for street, MX, ATV/UTV, or snow use?

Use each manufacturer’s hand-measurement chart and compare palm circumference, finger length, and cuff overlap; allow extra room if you plan to add thermal liners so grip and throttle control aren’t restricted. Also confirm cuff length and closure work with your jacket sleeves and that the glove allows full lever and handguard clearance.
• Which riding conditions are best for different styles of Waterproof Gloves?

Choose insulated, membrane-lined Waterproof Gloves for cold, wet riding and full-day touring in rain; pick a lighter, ventilated waterproof model for warm-weather showers to preserve tactile feel. Remember membranes and sealed seams give true waterproofing, while water-resistant shells only slow water ingress.
• How do Waterproof Gloves compare within the category on protection and materials?

Within Waterproof Gloves you’ll find leather, synthetic-leather, and textile shells; prioritize models with knuckle armor, palm reinforcement, abrasion panels, and good seam placement for impact zones to balance weather protection with crash protection. Materials tradeoffs are straightforward: leather offers abrasion resistance and feel, textiles tend to dry faster and accept membranes more easily.
• What setup or adjustments improve control and integration with my riding gear?

Adjust cuff closures so the glove seals over or under your jacket sleeve per your preference, confirm heated-grip wiring clears the cuff, and break the gloves in through short rides to restore natural lever feel and grip. For handguard-equipped bikes or snowmobiles, test full-range steering and throttle/brake modulation before a long ride.
• How do I clean and maintain Waterproof Gloves to preserve waterproofing and protection?

Remove any removable liners, hand-wash shells with mild soap if allowed by the product instructions, rinse, and air-dry away from direct heat; re-treat outer textile areas with a water-repellency product designed for technical fabrics when water begins to soak rather than bead. Regularly inspect seams, reinforcement panels, and closures for wear and replace gloves once protection or waterproofing is compromised.
