Alpinestars SMX-1 Air Gloves

Alpinestars SMX-1 Air Gloves

Rambler977 - NY Can’t beat the quality for the money "I bought these gloves back in August. Coming from moto I never liked some of the full leather gloves as I felt I didn’t hav enough feel. I thought for the price I would give these a try and I honestly couldn’t be happier. Besides the carbon on the knuckles there’s leather on the palm and bottom of the fingers. I have great feel with the gloves and they breathe great. If you want a glove with good feel that will give u protection and not break the bank these are the way to go. Of course a full leather glove will provide more protection but there a lot more money and it’s personal preference on feel an what your comfortable in. The only bad thing I can say is I can say is if u were to pull hard on the Velcro tab i guess u would call it u use to snug the glove around your wrist and u didn’t make sure were holding it by more then just the very tip u could prol pull it off as by design it’s not a solid tab or strap wat ever u wanna call it. If your wondering what kinda bike I use them on it’s a Honda 929"

Alpinestars SMX-1 Air Gloves

George S - Columbus, OH Great gloves but don't last long. "These were the most comfortable gloves hat I had tried on. I love that the knuckles aren't sown in the back which makes for great flexibility. Unfortunately they begin to fall apart somewhat quickly and only lasted me about a season. The velcro could definitely use an improvement because it get's annoying coming undone all the time. Worth $60? Not too sure...if durability were to be touched up they would be unbeatable."

Alpinestars - Legendary Innovation

Sante Mazzarolo founded Alpinestars in 1963 in Asolo, Italy. Alpinestars first made hiking and ski boots but a short two years later the company introduced its first motorcycle boot - it included an innovative steel shin protector and a buckle closure system rather than laces.

A decade later, Alpinestars marketed protective boots featuring toe sliders and enhanced levels of protection for the motorcycle road racing circuit giving the company a loyal following. In the 1990s, Alpinestars rolled out additional protective gear including gloves, jackets and full leather suits.
