Great pads, look clean and easy install

Installed on my 2016 rmz 450, easy install I didn't use the new pins that came because one of them didn't look right, I wish they came with new clips to hold pads.

EBC brakes (highly recommended)

I put the best I can buy on my 09 kx250f. Sometimes it cost and sometimes it doesnt. These EBC brake pads are really smooth and not noisy. I won't buy any other brake pads for any of my bikes. Great brakes pads for the money!

Great brake pads.

They say you're not going fast if you're not using the brakes. I'm 45 years old and been riding and racing since I was 16. I've always used EBC brake pads. You always know you're getting a high quality product that will preform above any other product. I use them on all my bikes 2000 CR250, 2001 KTM 250 EXC, 2003 YZ 250 and 2006 KTM 400 EXC.

Great all around.

I haven't used these enough to know how well they wear in, but they stop great. I don't mind a pad wearing out fast, at least I know they are working well and doing their job. I have used the red pads (I think X pads) from EBC for years but switched to these because they come with a new pad retaining pin. I like the color of these pads a lot, it adds a little bling. EBC makes a great product. I use their pads on my car as well.

Seems to work just about like the factory pads.

A: Yes. Just be sure to correctly select the Year/Make/Model of your bike before ordering so we can be sure to send you the correct pads for your bike. Once your bike has been selected the drop down will show that these are front pads for your bike. Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

Q: I ordered these and it says do not use stock heat shield for the rear pads. Does that mean i have to get new ones or do i not have to use heat shields
Over 4 years ago
Also as I was putting the new brake pin in something wasn't right and I stripped out the threads in my caliper. Do I need to get a new caliper because that seems like the best but not cheapest solution.

A: If the instructions from EBC say not to use the heat shields then you do not need them. It’s usually necessary for semi-metallic pads to be backed to protect against the transfer of heat to the caliper. You may be able to re-thread your caliper. I would take it to a machine shop and have them take a look at it.
