I have only had this new axle on for a little while. It was very easy to install and looks great. I like it makes the stance wider. I would recommend this for your bike
I bought this axle after my friend bent the axle on my 2006 ltr450. It was hard to install but that isn't due to the way the axle is made or anything like that. It is extremely strong. I've landed very hard off of jumps and have had no problems. Looks very nice too. I didn't notice it being any lighter than stock, however. Overall I'd give it 6 stars if i could.
i put this axle on my raptor 660 and love it. it lighter and stronger than stock plus looks alot better too.
I bought this for m 2008 trx250ex and am blown away by the quality of the axle. my stock axle bent by hitting a stump with it. this axle is also much lighter than stock, but also loads stronger. this axle can take jumps with no problem, now only the suspension is the problem. this is well worth the money.

Question:Q: Does 2+2 mean 2" wider on each side?Question asked Over 3 years ago
Question answered by MotoSportExpertUser's contributor status: Expert MotoSport StaffQuestion answered Over 3 years agoAnswer: A: The Eliminator axle comes in a standard length or an extended length, denoted as the 2+2. The 2+2 is a general term referrring to the over stock length. The actual length may vary slightly and most of the extended axles are adjustable by hub rings. Good for widening the tread width, adding stability.

Question answered by MotoSportExpertUser's contributor status: Top 10Question answered Over 5 years agoAnswer: A: Dura Blue Eliminator Axle is a replacement axle for your stock one. There are no additional parts required. But I would suggest to inspect all the rear end components as on a 15 year old bike you may need some maintenance items to complete the swap.
