TM Designworks Plastic Case Saver TM Designworks Plastic Case Saver 18 YFZ450R SE - San Diego GREAT FIT AND FINISH!! LOOKS GOOD. "GREAT FIT AND FINISH! NO TRIMMING REQUIRED. Different brand of case saver required trimming so I returned that one and got the TM DESIGNWORKS CASE SAVER. This case saver is light weight and looks good on my new '18 YFZ450R SE. Looks and feels good quality. I hope I never have to test its actual function. I took some chain wax and smeared it in on the inside "C" with a q tip" where the chain would slam IF IF IF the chain was to break maybe it would help it slide down instead of gripping and slamming hard into case saver, not sure if this would help more or not. Yes the sprocket is exposed, but if you are riding with boots, WHICH YOU SHOULD ANYWAYS it should not be a problem. TIP: DONT GORILLA TIGHTEN THE BOLTS. Snug and threadlocker should be good. Use a nut driver to snug up the bolts. Do not use a ratchet and then gorilla tighten them, or you can mess up the threaded aluminum."
