Remove the Skid Plate:
Safely prop up the bike. Unscrew and take off the skid plate to access the engine and transmission drain bolts.

Drain the Engine Oil:
Place the drain pan underneath. Using a 13mm socket, remove the engine oil drain bolt and allow all oil to drain out completely–this may take several minutes for a thorough job.

Drain the Transmission Oil:
Locate and remove the transmission oil drain bolt. Allow this chamber to empty as well. These bolts have dedicated O-rings that should be replaced each time you change the oil to protect against leaks.

Remove the Oil Filter:
Using an 8mm socket, remove the two bolts on the oil filter cover. Carefully extract the oil filter and its cover O-ring. Let residual oil drip out. Inspect the filter and O-ring—replace both with new ones for best longevity.

Install the New Oil Filter & Gaskets:
Insert the new filter, ensuring the open end faces the engine side. Place a new O-ring on the filter cover then reattach and torque the cover bolts to 10 Nm.

Replace O-rings and Reinstall Drain Bolts:
Add new O-rings to both engine and transmission drain bolts. Reinstall and torque the engine bolt to 15 Nm and the transmission bolt to 20 Nm respectively.

Fill with Fresh Oil:
- Pour 750 ml of oil into the engine side.
- Pour 750 ml of oil into the transmission side.
DO NOT use the sight glass or check plug for level—trust the measured amount for each.
Refit the filler caps using new O-rings if available. -
Start and Inspect:
Start the bike and let it idle for 1-2 minutes. Shut off and check for any leaks at the drain bolts and filter cover.

After cool-down, double-check bolt torque and confirm there is no oil weeping or seepage.
