Step 1: Bike Prep & Skid Plate Removal

Start with the engine warm but not hot. Turn off the bike and prop it with a stand. If your 350 RR is equipped with a skid plate, remove it for easier access to the drain bolts and oil filter cover.

Step 2: Drain the Engine Oil

  • Locate the engine oil drain bolt (13 mm) underneath the engine.
  • Position your drain pan and remove the bolt.

Step 3: Drain the Transmission Oil

  • Install a new oil filter, making sure the open end faces inward toward the engine.
  • Install a new o-ring on the cover and reattach the cover. Torque the bolts to 10 Nm.

Step 5: Replace Drain Bolt O-Rings & Reinstall

  • Install fresh o-rings on both drain bolts. This is crucial to avoid leaks.
  • Reinstall the engine drain bolt and torque to 15 Nm.
  • Reinstall the transmission drain bolt and torque to 20 Nm.

Step 6: Add Fresh Oil

  • For both engine and transmission, fill with 750 ml of 10W-50 oil each.
  • Do not use the level check bolt or sight glass for this model – this can actually lead to incorrect oil levels and potential engine/transmission harm.
