Locate and remove the coolant drain bolt.

Drain the coolant.

Inspect and reinstall the drain bolt.

Fill the radiator with new coolant.
Using a funnel, carefully pour in the recommended coolant until it reaches the bottom of the radiator neck while the bike is upright. The system capacity is about 1.2 liters (1.3 quarts). -
Bleed air from the cooling system.
On this generation, you may find a small bleeder screw on the top of the cylinder head. If so, crack it open slightly while filling to let air out. Close it once coolant flows without bubbles. -
Reinstall the radiator cap.

Heat cycle and recheck level.
Start the engine and let it idle until warm–watch the coolant level through the radiator neck after shutting down. Top off if needed. -
Dispose of old coolant responsibly.
