- Add fresh coolant. Pour new coolant into the radiator up to the recommended level line. Use a funnel for ease and avoid overfilling.
- Remove trapped air (burp the system). With the cap still off, gently rock the bike side-to-side to encourage trapped air to release. You may see bubbles rise. Top off coolant if the level drops.
- Replace the radiator cap. Secure the cap, ensuring it's properly sealed.
- Check for leaks. Inspect around the drain bolt, hose joints, and radiator for any signs of fresh coolant leaks.
- Test run your YZ125X. Start the bike and let it idle for a few minutes. Shut down, let it cool, and recheck coolant level – top off if necessary.
