Step-by-Step Coolant Change Process
- Let your bike cool completely. Never open the radiator cap when the engine is hot–the cooling system is under pressure and hot coolant can cause severe injury.
- Stabilize the bike upright on a flat, horizontal surface, using a stand if needed.
- Remove the radiator cap slowly to release any residual pressure. The cap is located at the top of the right-side radiator.

- Reinstall the radiator cap securely.
- Start the engine and let it idle. Allow it to warm up fully, then shut it down and let it cool. Recheck coolant level and top off if necessary.
