Preparation

Locate and Open the Radiator Cap
Slowly turn the radiator cap to the first click to release any residual pressure, then remove fully.

Drain the Old Coolant
Locate the coolant drain bolt–typically at the base of the water pump or radiator. Place your container underneath and remove the bolt. Let all coolant drain completely.
Some DR200SE units may drain through a hose or fitting at the base of an aftermarket radiator, if equipped. -
Flush the System (Optional but Recommended)
Reinstall the drain bolt and fill the system with distilled water. Run the engine briefly, then allow to cool and repeat the drain process to flush contaminants.
Repeat until the outflow runs clear. -
Refill with Fresh Coolant
Replace and tighten the drain bolt securely. Using a funnel, slowly add coolant to the reservoir and/or radiator. Fill up to the base of the filler neck–avoid overfilling.

Remove Air Bubbles
