- Bleed the cooling system. Gently rock the bike side to side or squeeze hoses to help purge trapped air. Recheck the coolant level and top off if needed.
- Replace the radiator cap. Secure the cap back on tightly.
- Start the engine and check for leaks. Run the bike for several minutes. Check around the drain bolt and hoses, then stop the engine and allow it to cool before checking the coolant level one more time–top off if necessary.
