Final Steps & Bleeding Air

  • Start the engine and let it idle until it reaches normal operating temperature. Watch for air bubbles in the reservoir and top up if needed as trapped air escapes.
  • Let the engine cool completely, then re-check coolant levels in both radiator and the reservoir. Top off as required. It's normal for the level to drop slightly after the first cycle as trapped air dissipates.
  • Inspect for leaks around the drain bolt, hoses, and radiator cap. Reinstall the skid plate, shrouds, and panels.
